Since 2019, KryptoKloud have been proud supporters and Platinum sponsors of the Army Foundation College at Harrogate and its annual Inter-Company Boxing Tournament. Despite Covid-19 intervention in 2020/21, we were delighted to attend our third tournament on 2nd February 2023. Once again, we were superbly entertained with an excellent night of gallant boxing by the Junior Soldiers, and this was equally matched by excellent organisation, hospitality and friendship that we received.
During the evening we had the pleasure and honour of meeting Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson MBE, a former British paratrooper, veterans’ campaigner and author. He is the most severely wounded soldier to survive the war in Afghanistan when the Land Rover in which he was travelling was struck a landmine in 2006. During conversation, Ben stated that he’d love a flight in a Spitfire……………..Let’s see what KryptoKloud came up with.
